Paperdoll Cosmetics is a cool line of lip products that was started by Angela Ward who was a former Silicon Valley veteran and decided that makeup, not computers would lead to a better way of life.  So she dreamed up Paperdoll Cosmetics!

Paperdoll Cosmetics celebrates the different moods, attitudes, and personalities of women.  In each woman, according to Paperdoll is a strong, fun-loving, hip, and fresh woman inside of all women.

What's really awesome about this line is Moni, the company "spokes-doll"!  She is a jet-setting debutante who serves as a role model for women everywhere.  Moni is the ultimate "Paperdoll!"  Moni is an actual paperdoll with cut out fashionable clothes and accessories!
For me, it brings back so many childhood memories!  What a genious idea!

Since Paperdoll Cosmetics is mostly a line of lip glosses for the moment, here is a breakdown of all the shades:

Paperdoll Lip Lustres

Solitaire - A sheer shimmery gloss that can be used to give any lip color a shot of glamour.  The color is designed to "highlight the luminous beauty of the woman inside."

Trophy Bride - A frosted pale pink "that conveys a sense of innocence while suggesting the smoldering fire within."

Buh-Bye - A hot, sheer red gloss that's "perfect for the woman who isn't afraid to call the shots."

LA Woman
- A sexy golden bronze that's "the color of a deep Southern California tan."

Renaissance Girl - A beautiful violet that goes on sheer to offer a hint of color.  "It's the ideal color for women who like to maintain an aura of mystery."

Mrs. Robinson - This is a very strong red-burgundy lip color.  Made especially for someone who "sends an unmistable message of strength, confidence, and desire.:

When I first tried Paperdoll, I went for Buh-Bye (love the name!).  It's a transparent red gloss with a hint of pink undertones.  I love the texture of the gloss because it's right in-between a tacky and smooth texture making it the perfect texture.  It's not overly shiny and the color saturates the lips a bit making the color last for a long time.

It's a great shade on it's own or over another lipshade.  I wore it over a red lipstick while out one evening and I loved the way it made my lips glisten!  The Lip Lustres are packaged in a pot with a silver lid with a cut out of "Moni's" voluptous lips and beauty mark, so you can see the color through the lips.  How clever!

Currently, Paperdoll Lip Lustre retails for $13 and can be purchased online at
