I believe that when the first lip shade was ever worn, it had to be red.  During the time of the Egyptians, crushed berries and flowers were used to give the mouth a red stain.  Since ancient times until this day, red has to be the one shade that can make a woman feel her sexiest.  The trouble is that finding your shade of red is the key.  If you are looking for your perfect red, try Pretty Boy Cosmetics!  Pretty Boy Cosmetics has built a quality line based on finding the perfect red lipstick for you!

First, Pretty Boy Cosmetics was started by a former attorney, Elisabeth Donnovin, and her dear friend, Tisho.  They decided to create this line of lipsticks several years ago when they were dissatisfied with what they were finding on the market.  They took matters into their own hands and created their own makeup line.

Pretty Boy Cosmetics consisted of 11 beautifully drenched shades of red lipsticks named after important men in Elisabeth's life, except for Tisho.  Tisho is named for the co-founder and dearly departed friend of Elisabeth's.

All the lipsticks are encased in a classic square, weighted, red metal tube.  This is definitely a lipstick you'd love to pull out of your bag on a night on the town!

Here's a color description of each red shade:

Alex Z. - a true red with a hint of shine that's suitable for all skin tones.
Bob Henry - a matte brick red with a faint orange undertone with "enough red for those who don't
look good in orange-reds."
Big Mitchell - a universally pleasing medium brown red.  According to Elisabeth, this shade will
"look more red-brown on those with lighter hair and skin and more brown-red on those with darker hair."
Clayton - a fierce blue-red with a high shine.
Cornel Wilde - named after the actor's son, "this is a soft, slightly plummy red that looks good on
everyone."
CPK - a dramatically beautiful deep, burgundy matte red.
Jimmy - a glamourous crimson red.
Joe - a great brick red that can be worn by anyone.  Great day shade!
Pete - a cool-toned, slightly brown red with faint orange undertone with a slight shine.  Good for
those who want to
ease into wearing reds.
Tisho - a deep and slightly transparent cranberry red.  Great mouth-watering shade!
Tommy Hopper - another true red in an old-fashioned true red-deep color with very little shine  and it's not a matte.  "Compared to Alex Z., this shade is less bright and brown, but still qualifies as a true red.

Currently, Pretty Boy Cosmetics is expanding the line to include other products, like glosses from very, very sheer to opaque brown-red and lip pencils that include a lip brush on the other end should be available within a few months.  Also, the red lipstick line will be extended by two additional shades very soon.

The reds in this line are truly "to-die-for!"  The quality of the lipsticks are quite exceptional as they have been formulated to be quite creamy and not drying.  The pigment is triple-milled, so you are guaranteed an even application every time.  The color will last for a long time as well.

I can't truly say which one is my favorite because I have a different favorite everyday!  Since Spring 2003 is upon us, there is a return to the 40's and 50.  These decades symbolized a time of elegant glamour and ultra feminity and red lips are an integral part of that look!  I'll definitely be sporting Pretty Boy Cosmetics array of reds this Spring!

Pretty Boy Cosmetics lipsticks and glosses are $18.50 and lip pencils are $19.00.  To find your perfect red or reds, you can contact Pretty Boy Cosmetics at 877-861-6767 or email them at info@prettyboycosmetics.com to place your order.
